Nominations closed + final clarifications

Nominations for the winter 2023 round of Multifandom Doodle have closed - thank you to everyone who nominated tags! The tagset can be viewed here.

There are three clarifications related to the tagset.

1. There was no response to the previous clarification post so all "Trans [Character]" nominations were approved as nominated. As mentioned in the previous clarification post, if you request these tags you will not be able to use your request details to railroad somebody into drawing an AU any more specific than what is in the tag. For example, if an artist and a requester match on "Trans Kinomoto Sakura", the artist will be free to draw Sakura as a trans man, a trans woman, nonbinary, etc. regardless of what the requester writes in their  request details or DNWs.

2. The multiple "AU![Character]" tags mentioned in the previous clarification post were edited to have the correct format and accepted. In future, nominated tags that aren't in the correct format may be rejected if there is no response to a request for the tags to be fixed by the nominator.

3. These tags would not be considered "Crossover Fandom" because they do not involve any specific fandoms:

Any Requested Character(s) (Any Requested Fandom) as Magical Boy(s)
Any Requested Character(s) (Any Requested Fandom) as Magical Girl(s)

These tags will show up as rejected but they have been added to the tagset under Creator's Choice of Fandom as:

Creator's Choice of Requested Character(s) (Any Requested Fandom) as Magical Girl(s)

Signups are scheduled to open on or before November 1. Changes to the tagset cannot be made after signups open so please take a moment over the next 12-24 hours to check any fandoms you may want to request or offer in the tagset and comment on this post if you find anything amiss such as misspelled tags, duplicate tags, tags that don't have "group:"/"object:"/"place:"/etc. in front of them when they should, or misassociated/migrating tags. Also, feel free to email/comment if you would like to make any last minute additions.

There's some confusion in The Sandman noms. Rose Walker, Delirium, and Calliope all show up in the comic and tv fandoms both without a disambiguation.

Thank you! I'm not familiar with this fandom, should some of them only be associated to the comic or the TV fandom? Did any tags migrate from the comic to the TV fandom or vice versa that shouldn't have?

If neither of the above questions is an issue I'll probably just leave them as is.

They could all belong in both, it's just they adaptation significantly changes their physical appearance so people requesting one would not want the other! I'm not sure the tag being the same in both fandoms would interfere in matching. If not it should be fine to be left alone.

Thank you! I don't think it would interfere in matching; I believe all that would happen is the tag would be available to offer/request under both the comic and the TV adaptation of the fandom. As far as I know it wouldn't suddenly cause someone who requested just the comic to be matched to somebody who requested just the TV adaptation. So we should be good but thank you for the clarification :)

what's the difference between Any Requested Character(s) and Creator's Choice of Character? Is Any Requested Character(s) meaning any character that the recipient had listed?

Hi! Yes, that's how I would interpret it - as "Any Requested Character" meaning any of the recip's requested characters, vs. "Creator's Choice" meaning any character of the creator's own choosing.

In earlier rounds of this exchange I was pretty strict on not allowing tags with "any" in the name because of concerns about ambiguity, and technically I would still prefer for people to just nominate with the "Creator's Choice" format, but it hasn't caused issues so far so I've loosened up about letting tags with "any" in. If it starts causing issues I will go back to rejecting/editing them.
