Hello! After the pinch hit deadline passed all claimed pinch hits have been turned in, however there is 1 outstanding post-deadline pinch hit that has still not been claimed.

This pinch hit is due ASAP before or on December 25. The collection will not open until this pinch hit is filled. Due to IRL schedule constraints, if this pinch hit isn't claimed and filled by December 24 at 11:59 PM UTC (6:59 PM EST) the collection opening will be delayed by about 24 hours to late December 25/early December 26. Update: The remaining pinch hit is filled and the exchange is due to open on schedule!

Works for Multifandom Doodle 2023 (round 2) will be due in a little over a week on Monday, December 18 at 11:59 PM UTC. This may be earlier than midnight in your timezone (for example, in Eastern Standard Time the deadline is at 6:59 PM). A countdown timer may be viewed here.

Especially if you are using a new image host, please check your assignment before the deadline and before reveals to make sure your embed link works and your image is visible. There have been issues with a couple of works due to image hosts disabling embeds, placing a very short time limit on hosting, etc. I will be checking all assignments at the deadline for rules compliance and will attempt to catch any broken links at that time, but won't be looking at treats and won't be going through assignments again before reveals so wanted to give a heads up about this.

There is one initial pinch hit outstanding. If you are familiar with Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, or Hololive (Virtual Streamers) please follow this link to view the IPH post and leave a comment there or email multifandomdoodle@gmail.com if you are able to pick up the pinch hit.

Assignments for the summer 2023 round of Multifandom Doodle have been sent out!

Before assignments were sent, one signup had to be deleted due to a fandom request in the signup breaking the exchange rule "You can only request and offer characters/relationships that are in the tagset" as well as skirting the no-railroading rule. Normally signups will not be deleted due to breaking the rules, however in this case the deleted signup had only requested 3 distinct fandoms; had only requested 1 (rule-breaking) tag/prompt under 1 of these fandoms; and was unresponsive for over 24 hours when emailed. Since the participant was unresponsive, the only way to proceed with matching was to remove the rule-breaking request, and by removing the rule-breaking request the signup became ineligible for the exchange due to only having 2 unique fandoms. Let me know if there are questions about this.

After matching ran, four gifters were unmatchable on offers and those gifters were matched at random to a recipient who requested Creator's Choice of Fandom. Additionally, several recipients have been assigned two gifters each.
